чего мной уже предприняты некоторые усилия (см. библиографию), но полного
взаимопонимания еще не наступило.
В заключение я хотел бы пересмотреть некоторые более широкие проблемы,
затронутые спорами о Дарвине и биологических теориях как они
рассматриваются в современных моделях интерпретации, принадлежащих истории
и философии науки. Несмотря на сильный застой, была одержана победа в трех
принципиальных спорах. Во-первых, установлена связь меж Дарвином и
Мальтусом, утвердившая важную роль идеологии в основе научного
теоретизирования. Во-вторых, метафорическая природа фундаментальных понятий
так называемых базисных наук — сродства, гравитации, естественного отбора —
убирает барьер между научным рассуждением и другими способами выражения. В-
третьих, непреходящая и фундаментальная роль антропоморфической и
телеологической интерпретации в базисных науках доказывает невозможность
полного отхода от элементов телеологии в интерпретации. Назад к Возрождению
путем интегрирования науки с более широким мировоззрением, богатыми
средствами выражения и объединения факта и его значения, вперед к
нравственной науке.
